This ayah describes the qualities of the believers, promised gardens beneath which rivers flow. It doesn't name them by wealth, lineage or status. It names them by character.

One verse. Five qualities. Patience, truthfulness, obedience, being charitable, and praying for forgiveness before dawn (sahar).

Each attribute sits on its own line in a bold kufic script, painted in deep mulberry watercolour. Terracotta blooms, lilac leaves and sage stems grow between the words.
